Who we are

Goud Games Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 17463983. Our registered office is at the foot of every page. You can reach us from the help button in any of our games, or at hello@goud.games.

Which games

These pages cover every game Goud Games publishes, and the Goud account those games share. Today that is:

• Hokm: Card Game of Kings, on Android.

A new game joins this list the day it comes out. If it keeps anything these pages do not already describe, they change first.

Who can play

You must be 18 or over. Your account is yours alone; anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, so keep your email safe.

Coins and the things you own

Coins, chests and everything else you get in our games let you use them in that game; they are not property. They are worth no money, cannot be exchanged for money or for anything outside the game, and cannot be sold or handed to other players except in the ways the game itself offers.

We may change prices, odds and what the bazaar offers. If we ever close a game, we will tell you at least 30 days before.

Coin tables and chests

In Hokm, at a coin table every player puts in the same number of coins, and the winning pair takes the pot less a tenth: half of that tenth is ours and half goes to the week's jar. Coins can never be turned into money, so nothing of value outside the game is won or lost.

Where a game has chests, each holds things chosen at random, and the game shows the odds of what a chest can hold before you open it.

Buying

For now nothing in our games is sold for real money. If that changes, these terms will say how purchases and refunds work before anything goes on sale.

Playing fair

• No cheating, no programs that play for you, and no signalling to your partner outside the game.
• No working with players at other seats, and no second accounts to pass coins between.
• If you find a bug that gives you something, tell us rather than using it.
• In names and messages: no insults, hate, threats, sexual content, other people's personal details, advertising, or pretending to be us.

What we may do

If someone breaks these rules we may change their name, remove messages, stop them writing, take back what was won unfairly, or suspend or close the account. You can always ask us why, from the help button in any of our games.

Our side

We work to keep our games running and fair, but we offer them as they are. We may change them, and sometimes they will be down.

If one of our games damages your device or its other content because we did not take reasonable care, we will repair it or pay you for it. We are not responsible for losses nobody could have expected. Nothing here limits what the law does not let us limit, such as liability for fraud, or for death or injury caused by our negligence.

The games are ours

Our games, their art, music and stories belong to us. You are welcome to share pictures and videos of your own play.

Ending

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time; the privacy page says how. We may close an account that breaks these terms.

The law

These terms are under the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom or in the European Union, you keep the consumer rights of the place you live and can go to its courts.

When these terms change

If we change them in a way that matters, we will say so in our games before the change takes effect. If you do not agree, you can stop playing and delete your account.
