The Shahnameh names very few of Mazandaran's divs. What it describes instead is what they do, and the worst thing done to Kavus's army is done without a blow: a dark comes down on the camp, and the men who stand up in it are no use to anybody afterwards.

The game takes that and gives it a body. He is one of the host, not a figure with a story of his own.
